Heya, some more pics I have taken since I have been in England :)
These are actually taken all while we were on vacation in Scotland for our 1st Anniversary, the weekend of April 7th, 2002.
Cowal Bird Reserve
This is actually in someone's back yard so to say, it is a very large area dedicated to various species of birds as well as other animals.. Kinda like a Mini petting zoo of sorts, but the layout was great!!
Cowal - Female Snowy Owl
She was mean.. LOL. Everytime I put my hand up to her enclosure she would hiss at me. It was kind of amusing but not.. you know what I mean? lol
Cowal - Peacock
There were several adult Peacocks running around. They were pretty neat, this one family was eating lunch at a picnic table, and were totally surrounded by circling Peacocks. Was a site to see!
D on the Ferry
This was taken on the Ferry on the way from Glasgow/Gourock to Dunoon.
Gourock, Scotland
This is where we took the ferry from to go to Dunoon. That is actually Dunoon in the left upper corner, well, at least part of it! :)
A House on the Loch
We drove from Glasgow to Gourock for the ferry to Dunnon. This was a house on the Loch that we both thought looked really neat. I know it looks a little blury, but it was across the Loch from us. Hopefully on our next trip there, we can find out how to get to it!
Newark Castle
This place was the 1st castle we have actually been in since we have been here. It was pretty nice. Doesn;t look like much from outside, but we were able to take a tour from inside.
